Community Guidelines

Welcome to InsiderSetups.com — a community built by racers, for racers.

 

These Community Guidelines explain the expectations for behavior on the site and apply to all users, including those who upload setups, submit liveries, vote, browse content, or participate in future features.

By using InsiderSetups.com, you agree to follow these rules in addition to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Content Submission Agreement.

 

Our goal is simple:
Keep InsiderSetups helpful, respectful, and fun for everyone.

 

1. Be Respectful

We do not allow:

  • Harassment, insults, or personal attacks

  • Threats, intimidation, or bullying

  • Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, or religion

  • Toxic behavior anywhere on the site

Treat other racers the same way you’d treat them in the pits or paddock — with respect.

 

2. Keep Content Clean and Appropriate

You may NOT upload or share:

  • Pornographic, sexual, or adult imagery

  • Excessive profanity

  • Violent or disturbing imagery

  • Political content

  • Real-world controversial topics

  • Anything illegal

  • Political advocacy, campaigning, or real-world controversial debates unrelated to racing games

 

This site is visited by users of all ages and must remain family-friendly.

 

3. Follow Copyright & Trademark Rules

You must only upload content you created or own rights to share.

You may NOT submit:

  • Game files, extracted liveries, or uploadable console/PC paint schemes

  • Screenshots prominently featuring real sponsor logos or official team branding without authorization

  • Official team liveries copied exactly

  • AI-generated art impersonating real racing teams or drivers

  • Any copyrighted content that is not yours

Fan-made, original livery screenshots are OK.

If a rights holder requests removal, we comply immediately.

 

4. No Cheating, Spam, or Manipulation

Users agree NOT to:

  • Falsify lap times

  • Manipulate voting using multiple accounts, bots, or automation

  • Mass-downloading or scraping website assets

  • Reupload other users’ setups or liveries

  • Flood the site with fake submissions

  • Promote external products or services as spam

Any attempt to cheat or manipulate the community may lead to suspension.

 

5. Keep Submissions Helpful and On-Topic

Everything uploaded should be related to racing games supported on the site.

Avoid:

  • Off-topic images

  • Random screenshots

  • Non-racing content

  • Empty “test” submissions

  • Purposely incomplete or misleading setups

Post only what adds value to the racing community.

 

6. Respect Younger Users

InsiderSetups is open to users 13+.

Because teens use the site:

  • No adult jokes

  • No explicit content

  • No graphic language

  • No dangerous behavior or themes

If we suspect a user is under 13, their account will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

7. Do Not Impersonate Others

You may NOT:

  • Pretend to be another user

  • Pretend to be a professional driver, team, or developer

  • Use deceptive usernames

  • Misrepresent your identity

Keep your profile honest and authentic.

 

8. Moderation & Consequences

We reserve the right to remove:

  • Any setup

  • Any screenshot

  • Any comment

  • Any account

…if it violates these guidelines or harms the community.

Possible actions include:

  • Content removal

  • Temporary suspension

  • Permanent account deletion

  • Voting restrictions

  • IP blocks for severe abuse

We want InsiderSetups to stay clean, fair, and helpful.

We may also feature submitted setups in gameplay testing videos, social media posts, or other InsiderSetups content.

 

9. Reporting Problems

If you see content that violates these guidelines, report it using the:

Reports are reviewed within 1–3 business days.

 

10. Updates to These Guidelines

We may revise these guidelines periodically to reflect new features or community needs.
The “Effective Date” at the top will reflect any changes.
